Gift from the Town of Snowfall (Christmas 2020): Login Story 1
Lennox: Lord Faust. Are you there?
Lennox: …
Lennox: Merry Christmas. It’s Santa Claus, Lord Faust. I’m here to deliver a present.
Faust: What in the world… Are you feeling alright?
Lennox: I’m fine…
Faust: Don’t lie to me, that was clearly odd.
Lennox: I apologize for lying, it’s not Santa Claus.
Faust: No, that part I knew… Has someone been feeding you strange ideas?
Lennox: It isn’t strange, I learned those words from the Sage.
Faust: From the Sage…?
Lennox: Yes. In the Sage’s world it’s said that on the night of Christmas, an old man named Santa Claus goes and hands out presents to children.
Lennox: And you say, “Merry Christmas” and give a blessing, like I did for you just now…
Faust: Ehh? So you mean to tell me, that in your mind, I’m like a child? Like Mitile and Riquet?
Faust: I suppose he was acting as Santa Claus or something, and that’s why he called out to me.
Lennox: That’s…um…
Faust: I’m kidding. What is it that you wanted?
Lennox: There’s going to be a Christmas party in the dining hall. If you’re comfortable with it, you should attend.
Lennox: The Sage insisted you should come by, Lord Faust.
Faust: Sorry, but I’ll have to decline. The noise and excitement of a party isn’t really my cup of tea after all.
Faust: …is what I would normally say. But I suppose that Christmas is an important day to the kids. So just for today, I’ll make an exception.
Lennox: Haha, I’m glad. I’ll be waiting for you, the Eastern wizards too.
Faust: Lennox…
Lennox: Lord Faust?
Faust: …I had better wish the Sage a Merry Christmas too, don’t you think?
